You agree that you will treat any information in a non-public area of the Website (including without limitation any information that is intended for use only by authorised user(s), and/or which requires some form of password or other code) as strictly confidential.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as conferring any wider licence to use or reproduce any content included on the Website. Without limitation to the above, you agree that you must not:

  • use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text; or
  • copy or distribute any material for any commercial or business purpose.

In the event of any use of material in breach of these Terms, your right to use the Website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

No use of our name, logos and/or other trade marks (whether registered or unregistered) may be made by you without separate express written agreement being given by us, which shall be at our sole discretion.

You understand and acknowledge that we provide the Website only as a gateway for users to review opportunities in and information about the auditing sector and we do not seek to or have any control (beyond the limited editorial rights pursuant to the Terms) over submissions or their accuracy, quality or truthfulness, nor do we have any involvement in the negotiation or conclusion of any contract of employment arising from any information submitted to the Website.

We accept no liability whatsoever to any user or any third party for any loss or damage arising from:

  1. use of, or inability to use, the Website; or
  2. use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Website

howsoever arising, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

We will not accept any liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, terms, conditions, representations or other terms which may apply to the Website or any content on it, whether express or implied including but not limited to any warranty, term or other condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement in every case whether implied by statute, common law, custom, collaterally or otherwise.

Nothing in the Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

You shall indemnify and hold harmless us and our officers, employees, directors, shareholders, representatives, successors and assignees against any and all costs, expenses (including reasonable legal expenses), claims, losses, liabilities or proceedings arising from the use or misuse by you of this Website. You agree to notify us together with all relevant facts if anyone makes or threatens to make any claim against you relating to your use of this Website.

We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Website does not contain or promulgate any viruses or other malicious code. However, it is recommended that you should virus check all materials downloaded from the Website and regularly check for the presence of viruses and other malicious code. We exclude to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws all liability in connection with any damage or loss caused by computer viruses or other malicious code originating or contracted from the Website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. However, we cannot be held liable in the unlikely event of a breach of our secure computer servers.

As stated above, the Terms may be changed by us at any time. You will be deemed to accept the Terms (as amended) when you next use the Website following any amendment.
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms of Use operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect. Headings are inserted into these Terms for ease of reference only and do not form part of it for the purposes of interpretation.

Any failure by us to exercise or enforce any rights conferred by the Terms or at law shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such right nor operate so as to bar the exercise or enforcement thereof at any time or times thereafter. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

Except where these Terms provide to the contrary, any notice to be given by either party shall be in writing and delivered personally or sent by pre-paid recorded delivery or registered post or by fax to our registered address or where applicable to you at the address in your information.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be illegal or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction it shall be deemed to have been deleted without affecting the remaining provisions.

These Terms supersede all prior agreements and arrangements of whatever nature and set out the entire agreement and understanding between you and us relating to their subject matter.

These Terms and any agreements entered into through this Website are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of this Website or any agreement made through this Website.
