Meraki Talent are currently recruiting for a German speaking Manager to join the Third-Party Risk Assurance practice of a Big 4 firm in Zurich.

The successful candidate will be joining the department within risk assurance who are responsible for the provision of independent reports on operations and controls of clients who offer third party services. Many of the clients are focused within the banking and financial services sector. You will be involved in controls reporting engagements and be responsible for a wide variety of tasks and projects which may include sustainability reports, AML and KYC controls reports, IT controls reports, and control reports related to financial reporting. You will be in charge of identifying the weaknesses of IT controls and the risks associated with these for your clients.

Duties of the Manager:

  • Developing and advising clients on the strategy
  • Meeting clients and developing understanding of the operations and services that clients provide
  • Carry out controls reporting engagements for clients, mainly focussed within the banking sector
  • Identify weaknesses of IT controls and the risks associated with these
  • Review and advise on the internal control systems
  • Leading engagement teams and finding ways to add value to clients
  • Assessing the operating effectiveness of controls in place
  • Reporting on the clients operations and effectiveness
  • Writing reports suitable and of a standard acceptable for public consumption
  • Business development

Back ground of the Manager:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in IT, Information System Management, Business administration or a similar degree
  • CISA, CRISC or CISM certification
  • Big 4 experience a distinct advantage
  • Background in financial services / asset management
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Previous experience within an IT audit function (or similar such as risk management, IT project management, internal audit etc)  
  • Experience in reviewing operational controls, IT security and technology controls
  • Proven track record of being client service orientated
  • Be open to a challenging and varied role
