AuditOne is a newly formed provider of Assurance, Counter Fraud and Advisory services to a wide range of NHS, Education and Public Sector bodies in the North of England and Cumbria. With around 50 client organisations and over 90 staff, we are the product of a merger of four NHS employed consortia. AuditOne is hosted by Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will fulfill an important role within a team providing specialist internal audit services to a group of NHS organisations, and to external clients. The post holder will be required to audit a wide range of clients (NHS and external organisations e.g. Local Government and Education), planning, organising, controlling and conducting audits in accordance with Public Sector Internal Audit Standards and the high degree of autonomy expected in delivering projects. This will require the post holder to work with a high degree of independence, and to communicate with staff at all levels.
The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the training and development of Technology Risk Assurance Auditors.
Evaluating existing practices and procedures to review whether there are more efficient ways of working. Working with client management to gain acceptance of alternative ways of working. The post holder will also undertake or assist the Technology Risk Assurance Manager with complex assignments.
The post holder will also be expected to keep up to date with new and emerging technologies on an ongoing basis.
Our standard full time hours are 37.5 but we are happy to consider candidates wishing to work part time or other flexible working arrangements. We would also consider staff who may wish to take up a position with us on a secondment basis.
