My client are a UK insurance house who due to an extensive expansion plan are seeking to appoint an IT/Technology Auditor to join their city based operation.
This is a growing team and you will work under the supervision of the IT/Technology internal audit manager and will assist in providing assurance on the design, establishment of IT/Technology controls across the group.
- You will assist in the delivery of the annual internal audit plan - focussing on IT and Technology risks and controls.
- You will undertake the delivery of high quality, commercially focussed IT/Technology audits that fulfil the audit objectives, manages client expectations and identifies key risk areas and is delivered to a high standard, complying with Internal Audit methodology, for review by the Internal Audit Manager/Group Internal Audit Director.
- Your role will involve completing reviews encompassing the scoping and planning phase through to the production of reports for senior management.
This is an expanding team and we seek an experienced IT/Technology auditor who is keen to work within a motivated and dynamic team. You will be keen to work alongside the business and work with them to add value to their processes. Relationship management skills are essential for this role as are team working and the ability to work to deadlines.
Prior experience within financial services is desirable but not essential.
Candidates must be degree educated and be qualified or studying towards CISA or ISACA.
There is up to 40% UK travel (minimal).
Salary dependent upon location. London up to £60,000, Ipswich up to £48,000, Bristol up to £53,000.
