My client, a leading merchant Bank, is looking to grow its IT Audit team due to a huge increase in firm wide responsibility for technology risk across the Bank. This is because of a raft of complex regulation (such as MiFid II, Basel II and GDPR) and an increase in Clients/Service Lines that require a focus on Technology. It is exciting times at the Bank where the IT Audit team is going on work closely on technology risk projects with a new CIO who has joined the Bank recently.
I am working closely with the Head of IT Audit (whom I have known for years) to grow his team in London. They are looking for a VP to complement a team of 5 they have already in place in London. You will report to the Head of IT Audit and work across Application/Infrastructure IT Audit engagements with a global remit. Your engagements will involve working with senior stakeholders including at CIO/CTO and CISO level.
You will need IT Audit exposure from any sector (Financial Services experience is not needed) including from a Top 20 Practice. You will need exposure of leading Internal IT Audit engagements from ideally an Applications perspective. You will be in a senior role in the team and there will be scope to move into the Business including First and Second Lines of Defence Technology roles.
The Bank has arguably the best work/life balance in the City. You can work 40 hour weeks and also work 2 days from home as standard. I have hired several people in the team and have a get relationship with the Bank.
My client is interviewing now for this urgent role so call me or send your cv asap in complete confidence.
