This is a new specialist and senior role that has been established with a leading regional bank for someone to head up a function that reviews methodology and oversight of IT Audit across an international Group. The banking Group has been expanding rapidly and now operates in over 30 countries through both organic growth and acquisitions. Reporting to the Head of Group IT Audit this role will be primarily responsible for developing a function that ensures that Group standards are maintained across all entities and that all regulatory requirements are addressed. This will entail liaison with local heads of audit and management, working with them to implement best practice and standardising the IT audit methodology and use of technology.
You will also work alongside other senior IT audit management in undertaking specific audits and projects across the Group.
Candidates should be professionally certified and have in depth experience in a management role within banking IT Audit. The role will entail a great deal of interaction in an international environement and so communication skills are paramount. The function is also intended to develop and grow and so strong planning and management skills will be required.
