A FTSE 100 tech company has a newly created vacancy for an IT Audit Manager. There is currently a team of 4 in internal audit, and this is a newly created role reporting to the Director of Internal Audit and taking the lead on IT audit. The Director of Internal Audit is keen to find someone who has commercial empathy and can work with stakeholders in a fast paced environment. You'll deliver the programme of IT audits as specified in the annual audit plan, including planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up. Audits will include:
- Access and identity management
- Information security, including GDPR and technical security
- Depth system reviews for integrity, accuracy, security and commercial effectiveness
- Programmes and projects
- Supplier management
- Technology development and change management
Travel in the role is up to 30%, typically short trips of less than a week. Benefits include a 30% bonus based on company performance, private healthcare scheme, 25 days holiday, flexible hours.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of IT audit experience from a Big 4 or ideally commercial environment, and be able to effectively engage with stakeholders across a multinational business. Preferably, you will be CISA qualified, although this isn't essential.
