My client, a globally renowned organisation,is recruiting a high profile Deputy Head of IT Audit role within a high profile team. I am working with the Head of IT Audit (who has over 30 years experience) on this role in n existing IT Audit team of 10 and also managing 6 on the Data Analytics side of the business.
The current Head of IT Audit is going to retire in 2-3 years and will be ear marking the post holder (as the most senior member of the team) to have a path to be the Head of IT Audit in the team. There is a raft of IT Audit reviews due to the scrutiny of the regulators on the billions of pound of spend/revenue this organisation reviews each year. There are also exciting 2-5 year programmes across Cyber Security, Cyber Security,Change/Transformation and new cutting edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence,Block Chain Technology and Robotics. There are also plans to grow the team further to 15 in the next 12-18 months based on the increase in engagements. These are often CIO/Board level engagements reflecting how critical the highest standards to Technology Risk is to this organisation
To be considered for this role, you must have current/previous experience of leading External IT Audit engagements in a Top 10 Practice at either Manager/Senior Manager level across any sector. Experience of Data Analytics from an Internal/External IT Audit perspective as well as AQR guidelines fro the FRC would be beneficial but not essential. You will not need to be qualified with the CISA/ACA and QBE is fine in this area. Your experience could be from abroad if you can relocate to London but you will require existing rights of sponsorship to work in the UK to be considered.
