The Bank for International Settlements is seeking an expert in cyber security incident response and network and communication technologies (with a corporate title of Senior Security Specialist) to join our Corporate Security team on a 2 year, fixed-term contract.
We are an international organisation promoting global monetary and financial stability, and a bank for central banks. You will help further our mission by fortifying the Bank's cyber-defence program in the area of incident response and analysis.
The role will require you to identify and analyse unauthorised activity on monitored networks. You will lead incident response activities for cyber security events and advise on security measures to protect the Bank's infrastructures. You will also work on projects to embed security engineering into IT infrastructure projects as well as advise on topics such as security services segmentation and encryption/authentication technologies.
We look forward to meeting candidates with at least five years' experience in cyber-security operations, including extensive exposure to security engineering-related concepts with a master's degree in a relevant area. Additional certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC/GSEC, GPEN, GWAPT, CEH and CISA would be a plus. You also have a strong understanding of SIEM technologies, network and host based intrusion detection systems, and cyber threat hunting techniques.
We offer a unique, highly rewarding, international work environment giving you exposure to a range of state-of-the-art technologies. You will have the opportunity to interact with other cyber security experts both within the central bank community and beyond.
You'll receive a competitive compensation package, including full relocation and health insurance. And because of our status as an international organisation, we are able to hire globally and welcome applications from candidates of all nationalities.
